Eric Cary to Renew Maryland
Eric was born in Melrose Park, Illinois but raised in Wheaton, Maryland from the age of one year old. He attended public schools and is a 1984 graduate of Robert E. Peary High School. He attended Bowie State University where he was recruited to play football and to study Business Administration. After his freshman year he transferred to the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) where he was a member of the basketball team until an injury ended his season. While attending UMBC Eric also joined the fraternity of Lambda Chi Alpha.
Eric is currently a computer consultant with over 20 years of experience working in both the public and private sectors.
Eric and his wife have lived in the Gaithersburg/Damascus area for the past fourteen years with their three dogs.
On the campaign trail
Getting the word out and meeting people. There has been a lot of talk over the past few years about "change." We have to admit that there has been a good bit of that going on here in Maryland, but the change we have been experiencing is not the change it needs. Real substantive change has to begin with us as citizens electing representatives that actually speak and represent US the voter.
